Brad on Destination America
Brad will be on Destination America for the Kingsford Tour of Champions show. Brad was on the tour as a celebrity judge. Make sure you tune in on March 17th for the show. The show is on Channel 1465 on AT&T Uverse and 469 0n DirectTv, it will also air at midnight as well as at 4 am, over the course of he week it will air a total of 10 times.

Battle on the Bayou
Big day at The Shed on March 2nd. 300 kayakers will descend on The Shed to win the coveted Battle on the Bayou kayak race down Fort Bayou. Music will be kickin from 12-3 pm. A silent auction starting at 7 pm, with the coasts favorite band Fort Bayou Slim serenading the crowd. Get Fed at The Shed Saturday March 2nd!

9th Ever ShedHed Blues Festival and Family Reunion
As a thank you to the coast for supporting us through our small meltdown we are throwing ONE HELL OF A PARTY! Call it our re-Grand Opening if you will.
It’s a music festival, swap meet, and invitational BBQ competition. Music will be performed on 3 stages starting at 11:00am and playing well into the night. All FREE TO THE PUBLIC with plenty of onsite parking.

South Coast Summerfest and Kayak Rental
Come by and see the folks from Southcoast Paddling and buy a raffle to ticket for your chance to win a 10′ Vapor Kayak and check out the events going on for this years South Coast Summerfest. All proceeds benefit the Mississippi Wildlife Federation. Southcoast Paddling has also begun to rent kayaks down by the bayou so you can work off that sampler you just ate.

7 Day Binge to play at “UP IN SMOKE” concert at The Shed Friday!

7Day Binge, a combination of band members from 3 Doors Down, Kid Rock and Nashville Muzik Mafia to Play at The Shed
Again the music industry reaches out to The Shed BBQ to celebrate the rebirth of the famous Joint. Headliner 7Day Binge with Todd Harrell from 3 Doors Down, Nashville Muzik Mafia’s Jon Nicholson, Kid Rock lead guitarist Kenny Olson and drummer extraordinaire Shannon Boone will perform on The Shed stage On Friday the 6th of April.
Though famed by their extremely popular bands, 7Day Binge has become a phenomenon of it’s own. Their music described by Jon Nicholson is a “mix of Southern Rock and Detroit Rock that meets at a happy soulful place.”
7Day Binge has requested that ShedHeds please bring things such as old lamps, pictures of them at the Original Joint, license plates, any thing that would fit in the Shed décor or help rebuild. So yall come on out! Get here early to get a good seat!
Saturday is BBQ, Blues & Beer Time in Bay St. Louis!
This Saturday The Shed and lots of other local BBQ folks will be serving up some mighty fine Que at the Stella BBQ & Blues Festival in Bay St. Louis, MS. Lots of Blues being played also….Check out the Rochelle Harper Band at 2 O’clock. The bash is being held in the historic depot district, such a cool place! It runs from 11am – 11pm. Did I mention that there will be a Stella Yelling Contest? Oh, Yeah! This is a Pelican production and they always put on a great event! YALL COME!!!

Celebrate The Shed with The OS Academy of Popular Music
Celebrate The Shed!
Friday, March 23rd ROCK U 2 The Ocean Springs Academy of Popular Music will present a special night of family entertainment to celebrate the rebuilding of the Shed. There will be between 40 and 50 students from ROCK U 2 performing some of your favorite Pop, Rock, Country and R&B songs and the concert will also feature Guest Artists, including Ocean Springs singer/songwriter Jade Sanders, Abigail Osteen, and David Mitchell.
Brooke Lewis said, “We are so excited that the students from ROCK U 2 want to help us let the community know we are open for business. Music is such an important part of our history and we are so grateful that Tim and Barbara Alamsha have created a place where children can learn how to play and perform popular music.”
The concert will begin at 7:00 PM on Friday, March 23rd at the Shed on Highway 57 in Ocean Springs. The concert is FREE. If you choose, The Shed is looking for memorabilia and other Shed vintage items, such as pictures of ShedHeds taken at The Shed, etc to assist in their redecorating. All items will be appreciated and cherished as were the original ones.
